I finished day 2 over lunch. That's the most squat volume I've ever done. My legs were shaking doing the wall sits at the end after 78 squats. Took right at an hour to complete with 15 minute warmup, not near as long as yesterday.

Thanks for the update. I've been following this thread but decided at the last minute to stick with my current program. My main reason is I often have 45 mins max for my workouts during the week and got a little worried about the time commitment for some of the workouts.

Over the course of the month would love to hear how people are keeping up and if anyone cuts back on some of the supplemental and accessory work due to time?

Today only took about 45 mins. Felt it was a pretty easy day.

Rest days 3 and 4 is posted! LINK

Not participating, but I did my first squats in over a year today. I've been neglecting my health and fitness, and just reading through some of this thread made me want to go to the gym and hit it up.

Only 135 pounds ha, but I'll build it back up.

It was at Planet Fitness, bruh I ain't bragging about anything

I had to add a 10 and 5 to both sides to get to the 135 since it's only a 15 "pound" bar.

I was jk because I'm so weak with my back and bad knee that I'm barely squatting above 135.

When I got back in the gym I started super low, like 95 or 115. So don't feel bad about the low weight.

On another note I've got some serious DOMS in my right pec from the bench press on day 1. I've been busting away at incline and doing floor press for the last six months, so I guess I deserve it.

Day 3 done. Felt good.

I really like the accessory work. First time doing this and thought it was just leg work.

Finished Day 5 earlier. The snatch grip deadlift variation was fun. I haven’t done that in probably 7 years. I typically do hex bar deads these days just because it’s harder to frick up so that was nice to get back to the “old gtg”. Also, I like the strict chins because most meatheads can’t do them.

Question for you guys doing the “cardio” at the end. I know cardio is tongue in cheek but I’m doing light weights and no rest between exercises and very short to no rest between (superset) sets. How are y’all programming that?

Day 6 has been posted. Getting a little heavier on the back squat... LINK

I’m doing the same for the cardio. Lightweights, no breaks, a lot of burn!

Today was good. Been a while since I squatted some heavier weights.

Do they do something similar in November?

For the cardio I do 2 minutes between supersets. But yea lightweight, because I only have 10 15 and 25 lbs dumb bells. I have subbed a kettlebell in for a couple of last weeks cardio supersets.

They do Deadcember but I don’t really have the tools to run it. (You’d need a deadlifting platform)

Plus I don’t really have a desire to deadlift 5x a week.

PPSA (the guy that runs it) does have a ton of programs you can purchase on the cheap though. LINK

I’m sure I’ll just go back to doing some HIIB/CrossFit afterwards.

Just got finished with day 6, the heavy squats were nice. I didn't really feel the cardio, guess I'll drop rest times down

Watching some of the guys on IG, a lot of “no reps.”
