Do you skip your workout the day before a tee time? Does it matter? Kinda worried about being tight and sore.

I usually work out early so I'll get it in before I play.

Depends on the work out and your intentions for the round. Cardio/lightweights won't matter the day before. If you do heavy lifting which causes you to be sore and temporarily weaker, then I would try to leave a day in between the work out and a round (if playing for money or competition).

I do high weights and slow reps which causes a significant amount of soreness and weakness, and I can never score well the next day.

By "workout" you mean deadlift, right? I'm pretty sure that is the only approved exercise here on the TDGB.

Today is a bunch of rowing, some farmers carry and stuff I can't remember. Nothing too heavy. Gonna chance it.

Agree with this.

I'd also add that, although I've been too busy for it lately, doing yoga the day before a round is a great way to prep for a round.

The workout-fiend pros like Rory can probably squat/bench/dead/military before a round, but it's not the best way for the average slugger to prep. Definitely wouldn't do shoulders or legs.

So, I am sore today, but I really think it's lingering from some previous workouts. yesterday was no big deal, and I have no arm soreness from the farmer's carries or cutters.

I don't play competitively, but I notice that golfing after a workout helps loosen the muscles up some. I haven't noticed a significant dip in performance after a workout, but I also am in a maintenance mode as far as working out.
