Beau pre is a nice track. The public course Duncan Park isn’t to bad. I live there but really only play in ferriday.

PWoods?

Beau Pre if they paid their interest note to UMB and can afford to cut the greens, Duncan Park front 9 fairways are Augusta like.

I agree with front9. If you coming to Natchez, def play beau pre. They’ve had a special all winter for 20$. Members pay right under that for carts.

Can you walk the course or is it low the bluffs where you pretty much have to have a cart

I’d definitely recommend a cart, if you want to walk play Duncan Park, friend said BP is in OK shape but soaked from all of the rain lately.

Beau Pre is really the only answer.

The answer used to be drive about thirty-five minutes south to play the Bluffs, but apparently it is not in good condition now.

the Bluffs

Heard today they have shortened #2 to a par 4 permanently. They have moved the green forward due to the water runoff from past floods.

hadn't heard it was permanent but after happening twice in a year I could see it changing. it demolished #3 tee boxes as well

Someone told me that pwoods was best 9hole course in the state.

I've tried calling the bluffs couple times and all their numbers are non active, is the place still open?

I'm not sure how much longer this course will last. Between the course falling apart and the management they brought in, it's losing membership and frequent play. It's not an option anymore for people willing to travel 30+ minutes away from BR. Carter, The Island, etc. are better options. It sucks because you don't get those types of elevation changes around here unless you go to Quail Hollow at Percy Quin and that isn't in the best shape most of the year either.

didn't know that. it's a great layout and could be a fantastic course if they had a budget to keep it well maintained.

Cyress bend at Toledo bend says hello.

Best layout in the state.
Couple Mickey Mouse holes with blind shots but overall an awesome layout.

The Bluffs downfall started when they jacked green fees to $150. No course in LA can command that high a green fee especially in a remote area.

Um That was when it was very nice and full all the time...downfall started when the owner at the time built the huge clubhouse and then filed bankruptcy after a bunch of bad investments and market crash.
