If i am approaching this the wrong way, please let me know and point me in the right direction. My irons seem to be leaving me with a pretty big gap, most notably a 25 yard gap between my 8-9 and wedges being extremely short. Is there somewhere in New Orleans I can go get someone to look at my distances and adjust/bend the clubs to fill the gap?

my Irons are AP1's.

There is a 25 yard gap b/t the 8 &9 or between the 9 and PW?

Something doesn’t seem right here. You may want to start with getting your lofts checked, but you’re on the right track. They may need to be bent back to spec

between my 8 and 9. my 8 is 155 and my 9 is 130.

Where should I go to get them checked? I looked on the Titleist site and they seem to be nothing out of the ordinary.

Had a buddy with AP2's that were jacked up. His 7 iron was stronger than his 6

There's no need to contact Titleist about them. You just need to find a local golf shop that can check the lofts for you. Something is off if there's 25 yards difference between your 8 & 9 iron

another one of my big concerns is going in, fixing my iron gap issues, then eventually buying a new driver 3 wood and hybrid and then having a new gap just this time between my hybrid and first iron. how should I approach that? or is that "just golf"

That should be the least of your concerns unless you’re a highly skilled player. Playing long iron/hybrid or fairway wood shots from over 200 years to precise distance isn’t something you’re going to be able to do. Proper gapping of the scoring clubs (8i-L wedge) is much more of a priority.
