What do you do to keep your energy level up in the heat?

It seems like most of my rounds in this summer heat end up going the same way. I start out decent on the front 9 (last two rounds were 40 and 43 on the front), then I just collapse somewhere around hole 12-13. I think my body is getting tired, and my swing just doesn't hold up.
What does everyone here do to keep up the energy throughout the entire 18?

Quit playing till around October.
My Friday round wasn’t bad at all. But I went to the driving range yesterday morning and it was the definition of “oppressive heat”. frick, it was hot yesterday.

power gel, almonds, cliff bar, other snacks. Pros say you need to eat something every 3 holes

That's pretty frequent, but understandable. I drink a lot of water, but I will admit that I do not eat anything throughout the round. It would probably help a lot.

Improving your overall fitness, especially aerobic fitness, is probably the most important thing for your body and swing to hold up. Hydrating, eating healthy snacks throughout the round, etc. all help.
Try not to have more than one or two cocktails the night before. That's something I've been trying to be good about this year. A slight hangover will turn my swing into shite on the back nine when it's 90+ out.

I don’t eat before or during and let my body feed on its fat stores.

I'm surprised at how dehydrated I get on the back.
Lately I've been drinking over a gallon of water on the golf course. Take a 32oz yeti style cup, 64 oz water container, and I usually fill up the 64 oz at the turn. I still haven't been pissing in the bushes much on the course. Gatorade and Pedialyte are really good choices on the course. Sugar and electrolytes in gatorade will help give you a little more information on the course.
Other tip, is take a small cooler with ice on it and throw a couple of wash cloths in there to drape over your neck when you start getting hot.

I don’t have this issue

I drink a protein shake with cytogreens mix prior to warming up on the range. Typically tee off at 9am. At 10am I drink a bottle of water with vitamin C mix. At the turn I get celery and peanut butter with a Gatorade then on hole 14 I drink a B12 energy packet with another water. Typically don’t get tired unless I drink heavily the night before and am already dehydrated.
