I love the weekly “Tiger will do this”, “no he won’t”, “yes he will” threads. They never get old whatsoever

I read Tiger played a full 18 practice round yesterday -- something he has not been doing prior to majors for whatever reason.

I know not everybody loves him, but I sure hope he makes a run at it.

I said he wouldn’t make the cut at the US Open, he didn’t.

This golf course on the other hand is a much better setup for him vs the field by comparison. This golf course depending on the wind could be the most evil thing any of us have ever seen since it’s so dry.

I don’t think he’ll win, but I think he’s playing in one of the later groups on Sunday.

His driver has kept him from winning. This week he won't have to hit but maybe 1 or 2 per round. I just don't see how he isn't around the lead Sunday unless he completely shites the bed. That stinger is gunna be lethal

This simply isnt true

That is the old Tiger when he struggled

At the US open, and a few other tournaments this year, he was burned by his putter mainly, and irons second

Yeah he actually haven't driven the ball bad overall in this comeback. He's had some rough stretches but overall not bad.

Putting on the other hand...

What Tiger has shown since his return is that he can only put one solid round together and 3 survival rounds. That’s just enough to get us all pumped just to watch him throw up a 72 or 74 tomorrow.

He was like 5th going into the weekend for guys that went late/early. And he's definitely had his struggles but multiple times he's put more than 1 good round together.

Is still consistently better than 95% of the field week in/week out since he’s been back this year, including all the youngsters who are supposed to be whipping him and we still haven’t seen any vintage tiger performances. I think it’s safe to say he’s on track to get his a game back. Once that happens....

Gusty wind will make it an adventure.

What? He was number one in the world in 2013. Go back to the soccer board where you don’t need facts to support your position.
