Does this line of driver have more of a metallic “ping” sound to it upon contact. Compared to the previous drivers which had more of a blunt sound.

Or am I missing the center of the club face every time?
Tia.

A little, but it doesn’t sound like an aluminum baseball bat.

Got the TS2 in the bag right now and love it. No metallic ping and no complaints

I have demoed all of the new drivers. IMO, the TS falls in the middle ground.

I have never played attention to a drivers sound..

I play a Ping G410 and I couldn't tell you if it makes a sound or not, it just goes long and straight.

Now feel is a different story. I am probably in the minority but I can't stand the muted feeling of the Taylormade drivers.

If I didn't play the Ping. The new Mizuno would be my next choice then the TS.

I think it does have a nice “ping” to it, one of the reasons I liked mine. When I got fit into my TS3 I picked it due to feel, sound, 5 mph higher ball speed compared to all others, and only spinning around 2000 RPM. It’s so good, I may never change

I got into a TS3 from an old ping g. B/w the shaft and driver I got my spin down to 2300ish, which was huge for me. I like it a lot, it’s not loud. I got a significant bump in distance from the ping. Which apparently wasn’t right for me.

Revising what I said in a earlier post, the TS 4 is a beast of a driver if you have the clubhead speed.
