Its a fun course. No really tall trees and most of the holes are wide open. There are ponds everywhere, but you have to really mess up to bring them into play. It is a fun place for a scramble.

What day is the scramble and what is it for?

Next Friday, but I have no idea. Not my deal. A friend's company paid(I think) and he needed players. I could not build a better foursome as far as a group of guys I like to play with, so I am pumped.

Driver on every 4/5?

Couple dog legs and short par 4s where you may not use driver but its a real fun course.

Like the previous poster said, pretty wide open fairways and not many trees.

Decent amount of water but I've never lost more thana couple balls there and I suck.

In a scramble? Hell yes.
You really don’t need it on 2, 5, 7, and 17, but I’m a scramble go for it.

If y’all are sticking around after the tournament, hit me up and we can grab a beer.

I am asking for a goofy reason. I do not hit 3 wood from turf well, so if there is a 14 club rule, I will carry two drivers

Not sure how many vehicles we will be in. I know I'll be gabbing a beer as soon as we park the cart.

I got you. I wouldn't hit 3W on any of those holes in a scramble. shite, I rarely do it playing my own ball. Layups are for basketball. On 5 aim between the green and 6 tee box. That's my little spot down there.

Is this course in decent/consistent shape? Google satellite imaging is rough. I have to be in Laf a bit over the next few months and will need a work escape.

It used to be in really good shape. Last spring, they never seemed to recover from the winter freeze. Many in town are questioning some of the decisions they made during the recovery. The last time I played out there it wasn't worth the green fee so I haven't been back in months. Golf now has a decent hot deal every once in a while.

Looks like a late winter pic with everything dormant.

In good shape considering all the rain we have had the past few months. Greens in good shape too. Wide open with few out of bounds off the tee box. Really not worth the weekend price but not bad during the week with afternoon specials. Bring cash for payment. Credit card machine probably still not working

I bet that course is really fun from the UP tees in a scramble...I played it tipped and tucked with shitty greens for the Web.com qualifier a few years ago (they literally had GUR on the putting surface!)

Well, it was in great shape. Greens putted better than they looked. Really enjoyed the event. I'd like to go back and play a regular round.

Played it today and thought the course was in great shape. Played a 4 man scramble and posted 54 for the win
