I haven't played there in about 6 years. Is it still the premier place to play in Bossier? Looking at playing sometime over thanksgiving if I get to make it up there.

I would guess Southern Trace is the premier place in the area.

Course is in great shape. Greens are marble table quick. 8th green is still a tad iffy, but its almost there. All other greens are solid. Not incredibly long, but pretty tight. OB everywhere.

This is an understatement as it pertains to hole #5 ... that green is solid like concrete! Played there in early October and hit a 60 yard wedge into the green, clipped it pretty good and thought it might spin back a few feet, instead it hit the green and bounced 20 yards deep out of bounds over the green. I thought I might have flown the green and hit cart path but a playing partner was at the green and said it hit about 5 feet past the pin and bounced OB. That was some BS!

The rest of the course was in pretty good shape but played really fast and firm. A few greens had some bad spots but nothing too bad. Always a fun course as the layout offers some pretty good risk/reward opportunities.

Download the teeoff.com app. During the week you can play there for $37 at designated times(usually 11:00, 11:50 & 1:00)....normally $55.

There is no OB over the green on 5. Sounds like you clipped it pretty thin

No OB on #5?? You on the crack, man? There's OB left, right, and behind #5.

Whether hazard or OB . . . the point was that the green was hard as concrete and it bounced 20yd deep in the shite.

I’ve teed off with an 8 Iron on 5 dead straight only to never find it again. Playing in a tournament in a 4some and it just disappeared.
