Used to live in SA. Played there a few times. Only thing I remember about it is that it was scorching hot in the summer on that course...

Played it once while there... course was in great shape and the back 9 was cool going through the quarry. We liked it.

Also played both courses at the TPC San Antonio.

Back 9 is really cool. Plays similarly to courses in AZ/NV. Try to hit a ricochet shot off the quarry wall on either 17 or 18 tee shot (can’t remember which, it’s been a few years since I played it)

Brackenridge Park is a neat place to play too. AW Tillinghast design (winged foot, Bethpage architect). The Clubhouse houses the Texas Golf Hall of Fame.

Breck is a sweet golf course. They redid it a few years back. Definitely needed the facelift. Had a lot of memories out there playing junior golf.

Was pretty nice course. Had a good time catching up with an old buddy even of he is an aggie. Played better than i usually do. Bogey golf. Had a few birdie putts but they were from down town. Lots of good shots a few terrible shots and 4 lost balls.

Not a bad track this time of year. Played in August one year and it was the hottest I've ever been in my life.
