I have an old Army buddy going to PCB with his family next week. He wants me to drive over and play a round of golf 1 day. Any recommendations for that area?

I am seeing the following:

Camp Creek
Bay Point - Nicklaus
Bay Point - Meadows
Hombre
Signal Hill

Sharks Tooth is a great track, Camp Creek is phenomenal though, I’d play there, Hombre is a beast if the wind is blowing.

I looked on their website...
Both courses "Tee Times" require a member login??
Are both of these private courses?

-El Hombre

-Holiday Golf Club (has a lighted par 3 with good greens. get some beers and walk it in the evening).

-Camp Creek

Play those 3 and you wont be disappointed in terms of golf + value.

I got this response from the Pro at Camp Creek and wanted to bookmark it in case anyone searches this thread:

Thank you for reaching out. We are a private club and only accept reciprocal play through your golf course professional. The only other way to play would be to stay with us in the Watercolor Inn, The Pearl, or the Watersound Inn. The fee for Reciprocal play is $250 per player and the fee if you are staying with us in house would be $175 per player. All tee times must be set up through our concierge at the multiple facilities.

If you happen to be an honours course member you can play camp creek for cart fee only—they apparently allow one per day but I got lucky over thanksgiving break. I tend to lose way too many balls at CC

Hombre is a mother fricker
Bay Point Nicklaus was a lot of fun
Camp Creek is best if you can get on

Santa Rosa Golf Club is underrated

I’m playing Santa Rosa on Saturday.

Played Hombre last fall. It’s ok. I didn’t think it was that nice but it was fine.

Never gotten on at Camp Creek but hear great things.

Destin has better courses.
