Premium distance ball with urethane cover.

From GolfWRX,

quote:

According to language written on Titleist’s AVX packaging, the golf balls will have a new, “high speed,” low-compression core that’s designed for a softer feel and more distance. There is also a “high flex casing layer” to enhance speed and control spin. The “GRN41 urethane cover” is said to deliver scoring control, a soft feel and durability.

So they're losing market share to low priced options with the same feel/spin, and they think making a new ball at the price of the ProV1 is a good idea?

Must be since you question every great product. You are like THE best inverse litmus test ever.

Ah, I like the Snell ball, but will still pay for Pro-V1s.

Don't knock them til you try them. Got the Golf Digest Gold star for best overall performing ball under $20 per dozen

Snell mtb user here. I love the ProV1, but decided to give a sleeve of the Snell ball a try. Never looked back. It performed just as good, or better(for me), than the ProV1. At $27 bucks/dozen, if you get the 6 dozen pack, it was a no-brainer.

Best ball under $20 eh? That's some stiff competition.

It's from the site. I use MTB. Have been for almost 3 years now. Can't beat the price and performance for someone who plays as often as me.

I don't even play once a month anymore. Maybe close to that. A dozen lasts a long time.
