Best course is Money Hill (private), public course option is Abita Golf Club, which is OK and very cheap. Covington CC is semi private and available.

Carter Plantation isn't that far. I would think that'd be the best public option.

If its between Abita and Covington, pay the extra and play Covington.

Another vote for Carter Plantation.

Or keep going south and play TPC La.

If you are a member of a course up there. Have your head pro call the pro shop at Money Hill. They will let ya play if your pro calls and handles the tee time.

Gemstone in Franklinton is a solid course. New Management took over a few years ago, and the course is in great shape. About 45 mins from Covington.

Welp. I’d play Abita or CCC then.

We could do one of those Tiger Rant "player x eats yellow snow" type threads...

Bonkers thinks the Taylormade R5 is the current edition driver.

I played there in high school, I really thought they were still open lol. I do like to buy the refurbished pro v1s from Walmart though....they are a great deal.
