Anyone playing in this next Friday and Saturday? June 1-2.
45 hole round robin match play. Playing 5, 9 hole matches and then a shootout match play 18 holes for the remaining teams Saturday afternoon.
Thursday night, steak dinner and Calcutta for players only.
Friday night, dinner for players and spouses included.
Saturday evening, BBQ for everyone.

You sure you got this right? That sounds like a roundabout format for the horse race compared to all the member-guests I’ve played in.
Also, playing 3 matches in one day is gonna be a grind.

Players Pool Example - 6 team flights. Each team pays $300. Top two teams in that flight get paid 60%/30%. 10% gets put toward the winner of the shootout.
We have a tournament committee that reviews handicaps. We look for no scores posted or a large increase of scores posted before an event. If there is an issue, that player, plays the event as a 0.

It’s exactly as described, another private club around here does the same format. They call it swingfest.
