March is finally here which for those in the Gulf South means that the frost date is quickly approaching! Spring is around the corner.

I played in Crowley yesterday. 82 w/ 2 birdies. I missed a few easy birdie putts and made 2 doubles going for hero shots The course is drying out. Hopefully, everywhere is starting to dry out.

Good Luck!

Played in beautiful weather Monday.
Shot 82 with an Eagle, but no birdies.
Probably could have shot a 77 if I didn't put it in the water so often.

Shot an 86 at Gray Plantation in LC with two birdies and a few doubles and a triple

Really struggling off the tee right now hitting pull hooks with both driver and 3-wood. Scrambling my arse off

81 at the island. 3 birdies, 2 doubles, and a triple

Greens are pretty bad right now, but the rest of the course is in pretty good shape. Can’t play next weekend, but will be back out the following.

Is gator grounds worth playing? I’d like to try something different than Oakwing, Links, and Tamahka every once in a while.

We started on the back. After a great warmup on the range my swing was off. Found it on 17 and shot 4 over my final 10 holes. Course was soft, greens were nice and we rolled as mud was on your ball even in the fairways.

Doesn't compare to those 2 obviously, but it's a fun course. I like to play there with my dad because it's simple from the forward tees that he plays because of his age. Greens are always decent. Never busy

47, 40 for 87 Links in Alex. 0 birdies, played like crap for 1st 6 holes without really hitting a bad "full" shot. Wind howled on back nine. Greens looked bad but rolled pretty good.

82 w/1 bird and 4 doubles at Muni in Lafayette

My hangover kicked in after my birdie on 8. The course is drying up, so that’s a positive.

82 at Santa Maria Sunday. Probably shouldn't have played, after hauling around 60 bags of mulch Saturday and building a giant new flower bed on the side of the house. My arms were sore and it definitely affected my swing. I was just hit or miss and had no clue where the ball was going.

Birdie on 12 after a terrible faded drive left me 176 to a back pin. Stuffed a 6 iron to 3 feet for my best shot of the day. That was the highlight. Still had a chance to break 80 and proceeded to go bogey-double-bogey on 16, 17 and 18.

Oh well, my landscaping projects are now done, so I can get back to golf. At least Santa Maria is finally drying out some.

87 at Beaver Creek on Sunday

9 pars, 1 birdie, a 9 and too many doubles.
Course is in great shape except for being wet in front of most greens which makes for difficult chipping.
