Played TPC Myrtle and Caledonia.

Two super courses. Both were tricky, beautiful, and in amazing condition. Caledonia can really punish you if you miss the greens.

TPC was great, but Caledonia topped it a little to me. If you ever make you way to the area, play Caledonia for sure.

Id like to try the Kings North courses next time. I believe one of those courses has water on every hole and back to back holes with island greens. Ill lose a dozen balls.

I have never played the TPC, but I have played Caledonia several times, and it is great.

Kings North is part of MB National if I am not mistaken. They have four courses, and Kings North is the gem of those.

Glad you had a good time.

I love Myrtle Beach Golf.

Fortunately I have a friend who owns a condo there and have the ability to stay at no cost. His Condo is close to Barefoot so I have been able to play it numerous times but haven't had the opportunity to play all four of the courses.

The Father Son Golf Tournament is a must if you have a son that plays.

I have played:

Barefoot Dye
Barefoot Norman
World Tour
Caledonia
Pawleys
Tidewater
Indian Wells

Another interesting tidbit was that me and my buddy got paired up with this guy and his dad.

Link to his Columbia University page.

Yep, Columbia golf team and 3 time Ivy Selection. Dude was good. His dad was with him but didn't play, just took pictures.

He already graduated Columbia with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. His dad is the Chair of Aerospace Engineering at Ohio State.

Super nice duo to play with. Amazingly polite.

That makes me curious about what it's like to be a golfer at a place like Columbia. It has to be a pain in the arse to actually go play and practice.

I just looked up what their home course is, and they might have the best set of home courses of any college program in America (St. Andrews in Hastings, Tuxedo which is an RTJ track, and Knickerbocker which is a Donald Ross classic), but still, they aren't easy to get to from Harlem.
