First of all, Is it worth joining if you live in the Minden - Haughton area? Second, how much is it to join?

Have you seen the golf course? Are you attempting to join before even visiting the club?

When did you last play there? The club house is nice but the course was shite the last several times I’ve played.

Stonebridge is in pretty decent shape. But for about the same price you can non-resident at Squire Creek which has much better facilities.

If you can stomach the initiation fee which I believe is 6k non res

I wanna say it's gone up to about 6k a year for a membership. That's about 8 rounds a month at current prices. It's in pretty decent shape, but I wouldn't want to be locked in to that many rounds per month to get the value of the membership. Idk if this is still the case, but it wasn't a monthly bill when I looked into it, years ago. It was all due up front.

Whoops! Definitely thought you meant Stonebridge in Gretna. When I saw that other guy mention Squire Creek, I thought he was off by about 5.5 hours. Then I reread the OP and saw you said Minden-Haughton area. I've never played Stonebridge up north. I hope it is a beautiful course and you should join.

Play it from time to time and it’s in very good shape. Unless you’re gonna play twice a week or more, I don’t see the benefit of being a member...unless you’ve just got money to throw away.

Their normal rate is $50 and you can routinely get “hot deals” for around $33. JMO

What app are you using for the hot deals at Stonebridge?

teeoff.com......there’s a $33 deal tomorrow at 11:00, 11:40 & 11:50. Can usually get that $33 deal during the week.

Good to know.. I won't be working close so it'll be probably only once a week.. Will probably look at joining the little 9 hole course in Minden for afternoon rounds. It's only like 90/month.

I hope you're not referring to The Grove. That place has been closed long time.
