Would be a blast to have a guy like Johnny out there.

Just because you can generate club head speed doesn’t mean you have a shot at pro golf.

People honestly have no clue how deep pro golf is

Does he have the commitment to really get better?

Does he understand how good those guys are?

He can definitely play, there are some rounds online of him playing with the golfholics in Vegas

The guy was a really good athlete for sure, but to even think he can make it on the tour is just comical. Imo it would probably take a ton of work for him to even win some local city amateur tournaments.

0% chance.

Laughable that he thinks its even a remote possibility.

I think I may try out for the NBA next year.

He is a professional athlete and still young. Also has the funds for coaching, etc. if he really devoted 12 years I don’t see why he couldn’t qualify for some PGA events.

The question is will he really devote himself? Seeing how he’s a party animal, I doubt it.

so what you're saying is a guy who was the best amateur in the world in the sport he had immense God given talent in, who washed out because he was a degenerate drug addict. Is going to go be one of the best 120 players in the world in a sport he has no track record in.

Lol ok

You can become a brain surgeon in less than 12 years.

I really do hope JFF spends 12 years on this

He's too John Daly in his backswing but he has a great swing.

I wonder if we'd see the same thing if the video were 100 swings in a row. I doubt it. I can hit a PGA Tour shot every five swings or so.

If JMFF had more money I’d help him learn how hard that journey can be financially.

Meh. Long shot for sure, but he didn't say his goal was to win a Masters, but to qualify for an event.

I mean, if Romo can get close to the cut line in an event, this isn't so ridiculous.

That said, I'm not sure he has the discipline to really commit to what it would take.

Romo has never even come close to qualifying for a pro event, in his sponsor exemption starts he shot 70-78 and one WD after he shot 75 then WD.

Kyle Berkshire trains with one of the best golfers on the planet but couldn't make a cut in any tour event.

People don’t understand how good PGA players are. If you mean professional as playing on a random mini tour sure it can happen.

Tom Coyne put it best with his pyramid of golfers. Scratch is shite when you’re talking about being a good golfer. Much less Johnny football thinking he can play in a tour event. It’s a good book, everybody should read it to put some things in perspective
