We need someone who is no longer playing who can spend all of their time working with the players and developing a real team. We looked and played like shite this weekend.

Not really, you just need a real captain and this team wins. I like Furyk as a person but his team pairings were awful. Why do you even consider sitting Finau? He was one of the best players. Play Phil in four ball with someone steady.

Another guy that was overlooked was Brian Gay. Guy is one of the best putters on tour and keeps his ball in the fairway. He should have been given a look for this course.

I love Tiger but he did not win one single point. I know his partner was playing bad but he sucked all weekend. I understand that the pairing should be better but in the end, these guy got their asses handed to them because they all played like shite. Cant keep the ball in the fairway

2020 is going to Steve Stricker because the Ryder Cup is at Whistling Straits and he's from Wisconsin. Not that that is a good reason to give it to him.

I mean a good captain would have told his guys to hit the ball in the freaking fairway, regardless of how far down the fairway it went.

The US players put themselves out of position off the tee several times with irons. Mickelson hit an iron off the tee on a par 5, and hit it in the fricking water.
Furyk made some bad decisions, but the players were just terrible this week as a whole.

In the DJ/Koepka match on Saturday they hit iron on almost every tee and missed the fairway about 5-6 times. It was bad golf!
