For the third time in less than three months, there's a huge player-caddie shakeup on the PGA Tour. And this time, it involves a pair with a particularly close relationship. Jason Day has replaced longtime caddie and father figure Colin Swatton ahead of this week's BMW Championship. Day will have friend and former high school roommate Luke Reardon on the bag, a move first reported by Golf Channel's George Savaricas.

Usually when a couple guys switch, there's a carousel effect. Interestingly though, this doesn't seem to be the case since he's picking up an old friend.

Why does it seem that when the golfer isn't playing well, it's ways the caddy's fault

It's one of the few tools you can change easily. Also, this guy is your extra set of eyes, ears, the works. Sometimes, it's good to have a fresh playing partner.

This one is interesting because of the long time relationship (even beyond golf) that these two have had. Heard he was staying on as his swing coach and Jason day had a crazy year this year with off the course stuff so hard to know what to think of this.
