We had our annual MGA dinner last night and at the dinner they give out awards for different tournaments and achievements. One of the awards is for most rounds played up until this point in the calendar year.

The guy (late 50s and not retired) that won this award had played 161 rounds of golf at our club, as of the date of the dinner. Meaning he played at least 1 round of golf every 2.25 days up until this point with 1.5 months to go.

How many rounds do ya'll get in a year? I'm closer to 50 but 150+ is just mind blowing to me.

I have two kids under 5 and one more on the way. I've played 33 rounds this year. With three kids next year, I'll be happy if I can play half that. I'm looking forward to the time when playing once a week doesn't seem like a burden to the Mrs.

I play a bunch.

I think I’ve got 125 to 130 recorded rounds in GHIN.

The time change bites I too my 3 nines a week after work.

I try to play 18 Saturday, 9 Sunday, 9 Tuesday, 27 Wednesday(my off day), and another 9 Thursday or Friday.

I had surgery and missed 8 weeks this year.

I want to record 200 rounds a year in GHIN.
2020 I got to 150
2021 I’m at 122.

I avg 3-4 rounds per month. 1 league round and 2-5 at my club depending on what’s going on

I would also like to assume that anyone playing 150+ rounds a year would have to dramatically improve their golf game

I have 29 scores in GHIN this year. There have been several times where I walked 9 or 18 by myself and didn't record the score. So I'd say probably more like 35.

I am married with 3 kids all under the age of 8 and have a full time office job. I am pretty damn impressed with that 35 number

I play once a week with twin 2 year old boys. My wife wants another but i refuse. I don’t want to give up playing once a week to sit at home with 3 freaking kids. Leaving the wife now seems brutal but she allows it. 3 kids? I may never see another golf course. No thank you.

46 posted rounds this year. Probably another 10-12 team events I've played where we don't post our scores (alt shot, shamble, etc). And several post work 9-12 hole "rounds" where I just practice hitting multiple shots, etc.

I'd play more if I could.

It's really not much different from 2 to 3, as far as the weekend golf rounds go. You're wife is still watching multiple kids. I never really slowed down playing after #3 came, except for the infant weeks/months. It was way harder going from 1 to 2 kids, until we learned to get in a groove of how to handle them both on our own.
