I know. I know, this has been discussed. 12 guy golf trip, weekend of 9/10. 4 rounds including 36 on Saturday.
GSGC on Friday
Kiva Sat morning but trying to decide on 2nd 18 between Peninsula and Craft Farms. What say you???? Current conditions? Better lunch and most importantly better alchohol?

Sunday will probably be Soldier as RTJ dogwood/azalea hosting Senior womens open or sumthin.

Try Rock Creek on the way home. It's in Fairhope and is a really fun layout. Not sure of the conditions, currently though.

I would do Peninsula on Saturday afternoon. It's on the way back to GS from Kiva.

Timber Creek is also a good one for Sunday. It's in Spanish Fort and there are three 9s.

Yea I agree with playing Kiva again, but want to switch it up. We are doing team tournament style.
Seeding and setting teams Friday.
Scramble and Shamble Saturday

Handicaps range from about 8 to 36ish

Craft Farms is like 30 to 40 minutes from Kiva whereas peninsula is close.

Yea, knew it would be easier to do and I haven't played that one before. May do Peninsula, then Craft Farms Sunday

I don’t care for peninsula layout, but it’s always in great shape. The greens are usually very fast. Stay below the hole.

For a group having fun and drinking beer, craft farms is probably a better option.

How do you know 12 people that are capable of aligning vacation times? That blows my mind. Not saying it’s wrong, I’m just an introvert who doesn’t have friends.

Following options:

1. Rock Creek in Daphne
2. Peninsula
3. Magnolia Grove in Mobile (if driving back towards LA)

Trust me, I've been on golf trips every year for the past 10 years. You CANNOT go wrong with any of the above 3.

Magnolia Grove was a very pleasant surprise. Beautiful layout and in great condition.

Played Rock Creek last Thursday & it was in great shape tee to green. Greens were very slow & a little splotchy in places.

We have a group of 10 going at the same time basically. Playing GSGC on Thursday (9/9) at 1 pm; Kiva on Friday morning; Peninsula on Saturday morning; and Craft Farms on Sunday before we head back to south Louisiana.

We’ve been doing trips like this for 15 years. We used to have 20 guys on the trip. We would do 2 teams of 10 and play Ryder Cup style.

It’s always a great trip.

Played kiva today. Was in really good shape. First time. Really enjoyed it. Fairways are amazing. Greens don’t break nearly as much as you’d think.

I played kiva and peninsula this past weekend. Both are in fantastic shape. Kiva is what golf on the gulf coast was meant to be and peninsula is a shitty layout but is always primo. Haven’t played craft this year but do know they lost over 1000 trees to the storms and were renovating the clubhouse.
