Best hybrid tip I’ve ever heard was David Toms... “try to take the smallest divot you can”

Rick Shields put up a good video for long irons and hybrids. He says to take it to the range and tee it up like a driver. Hover the club behind it and then take a swing. Try to hit even with the ground.
I did it with a 4i as to get used to the sensation without fear of scuffing top of hybrid. Worked wonders for me.
