I've played Oxmoor Valley and Highland Park. Would definitely recommend OV, but HP is a cool little layout.

I've played Bent Brook, Ross Bridge, and Oxmoor courses. Always heard that FarmLinks is fantastic. Can't go wrong with any of those imo

Strap up, lock and load, and play Roebuck where Bobby Jones won the Southern Open.

If you are an hour south of Bham, you might look at the RTJ course in Prattville.

Pine Tree is nice.
It’s private, but it’s a Troon course so maybe your club can hook you up.

Limestone has bent grass greens so they keep them a bit longer in the summer.
It is beautiful and plays best in the fall.

The best RTJ course IMO is Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, about 45 minutes south of Montgomery along I65

Pine Tree is underrated. On a beautiful plot of land and usually the greens are in good shape. As far a public courses go You can’t go wrong with FarmLinks or RTJ

It is a little off the beaten path. Near Leeds I think.
It is beautiful and a real test of skill.

I did google it. Saw it was a Robert T. Jones design - is it in good shape and worth a trip from Birmingham?
Nielsen has connections to Coach O.
Will Urban succeed at the next level?
