Just curious where is your happy medium. Play 3x a week? Once a month? Etc. I would assume for most of us we'd rather spend more time on the course. But at the same time, when is too much?

Every damn day possible

I do believe I get depressed if I can't find a way to a course W, T, F, S and S.

It's my hobby. My wife is a triathlete and that takes up a ton of time. Which means I'm "allowed" a bunch of time for mine. I play about 3 times a week.

I was out practicing today. I have no wife or gf, so I don't have that problem. I was thinking I could probably do this everyday, would just need to rotate course and keep it fresh.

I play every weekend. I tee off at 7 am on Saturday and Sunday to where when I'm done I still have the rest of the day to hangout with my wife and family. I look forward to golf it gets me through the work week.

Yep. I don't know how people pay frickloads of money only to play the same damn course and put up with the same people they go home and talk shite about.

I don't deal with ridiculous heat very well, so I play in the late afternoon, around 5:00 or so in the summertime. The monetary benefit from paying super-twilight rates is noticeable.

In BR, it rained a lot in the afternoons in June and early July, so I went about 3 weeks without playing.

Once the weather got drier and the courses got dry, I got on a run where I played 6 out of 9 days, including 36 holes one day at Webb..and I managed to play at 5 different courses (Dumas, Webb, LSU, Santa Maria, Beaver Creek)

Good news: I'm playing the best golf of my life, with no round above 90.

Bad news: I am in my 40's and tendonitis is an issue. Both elbows are sore so I've had to take a few days off.

So to answer the OP question, I think if I could play every other day, I would get enough of a fix without overdoing it and I'd be able to keep from getting sore.

When I was younger i played 6-7 days a week and loved it.

When I retire in a few years I'll be back to that.

I live in a golf course community and I don't play as much as I want. I can walk to pro shop and driving range from my house and I still don't get over there.

I have a wife and 2 y/o so that's why I don't get to play as much. I'm getting about 4-5 rounds in per month, usually starting at 530pm so I can get through a round in 3 hours or so.
