Looking for courses in Orange Beach during the first week of June. We are staying at one of the Phoenix's so I don't want to drive hours away looking for a course. There will be four of us and we shoot in the 88-100 range. I looked up some and saw Craft Farms. It looks nice, and I'm down for the price, but I'm not sure everyone else in the crew will want to pay $80-$90. Can y'all recommend anywhere else? TIA

this is a good one especially for the price and range of handicaps. some of the courses down there wont be any fun for guys shooting 90+ on a regular basis

Foley Golf course (Green Lakes) is actually pretty nice. Played there last Summer. Great environment

I'll echo this sentiment as a terrible golfer. Good bang for your buck as well.

I’ve played craft farms and peninsula... both were very nice courses

Kiva Dunes is one I’ve been wanting to try out but last time I was up there it was closed for maintenance (I think) so I wasn’t able to play there

Can’t go wrong with the first two though

Kiva is a great course for anyone - just play the right tee box.

Best course in the area.

Gulf Shores Golf Club
Peninsula
Lost Key

All are good - peninsula is much more friendly than Lost Key.

If you shoot 100 don't go here, if you do bring a couple dozen balls.

doesn't get enough love in that area I found it every bit as good and well kept as Kiva.

Definitely underrated and I'd have it on par with Peninsula but Kiva is a level above those two

I have never played a golf course that was harder than Lost Key. I was an 8 handicap when I played it and I lost 7 balls.

I used 4 iron off the men's tee most of my last round there and shot 82 I believe....I screwed up on a couple of holes and got greedy.

Play smart off the tee box and you will be fine.
