Haven’t played it in a bit, but I’ve heard it was in great shape right now. Might be the best value around right now ($75?).

If anyone is curious, I played Fallen Oak yesterday and it was perfect everywhere.

My favorite layout on the coast. Mind the sign that tells you how far to the hazard on 5 tee shot. Pretty straight forward otherwise

I just bought a weekend place in BSL. Looking forward to playing golf in the area. Have Grand Bear, The Preserve, and The Bridges on the list so far.

Hate how far it is off the highway

Played it a few months ago. It was in phenomenal shape. They spent a ton of money for a tournament that was going to be held there and the tournament backed out at the last second. Apparently they're in a lawsuit about it.

Took a small lunch break at the turn and let two groups past us. We played the back nine without a soul in sight except the cart girls. We saw more deer on the course than them.

It is a good drive off the highway but worth it imo

Got a few rapid fire questions for ya:

Did you play as a single, or with someone? How far out did you make your tee time?
Was the course crowded?
Nice pro shop?
Since its been so hot and dry, how baked were the fairways/greens?

Looking at making the drive up there in a few weeks.

Did you play as a single, or with someone? Three of us went and played together

How far out did you make your tee time? Literally made a tee time last Friday for this Tuesday, rates were $49 a head

Was the course crowded? Not at all. It was fantastic. I'm assuming part of that is because you don't just happen to go golf here, it's got to be intentional.

Nice pro shop? Pro shop was decent. It was fairly small , but they had some good items in there

Honestly, most of it looked really good despite how hot and dry it has been. The greens were perfect

Looking at making the drive up there in a few weeks.

Damn. Was that a discount rate on Golfnow or something?

Gotta be due to the summer heat? Idk...we played in March and it was around 125 a head. Didn't care. It was gorgeous and the greens were fast AF with tons of undulation.
