Are you mainly leaving it in because you now intend on hitting putts harder going forward?

OR

Are you mainly leaving it in the event you mishit or misread slope and the intended putt is rolling faster than anticipated?

Neither.

We left it in on Monday because it was 45 degrees.

It shaved 3 minutes off our round.

instead of having someone tend the flag on longer putts, I’ll just leave it in

Thank goodness you don’t have a job where people depend on you not being lazy lol ;)

Putt out.
Every time, it’ll shave an hour.

I’ve always putt with a little speed. I want to miss it 4” past the hole. It gives me an exact read coming back. So with the pin in, I’ll make more putts. I hate hitting the back of the cup and watching it pop out, because the hole it cut wrong or it’s down hill.

This. Nothing pisses me off more than a putt that is on line but I leave it short

Neither. The study I read this morning suggests you should always leave it in.

I tried that method. I have 4 kids to show for it. Might as well leave it in at this point
