Always felt the courses didn't allow this more for liability reasons so they put signs up but really don't enforce it.

I've never bought beer at a course and also have never been questioned about where I got the beer I'm drinking.

Just curious if anyone has felt the rath of a Marshall on this issue?

Buddy of mine has a in with a liquor salesman. Get stuff on the cheap. But it only comes in odd packages. Brought some one time and the 19th hole bartender busted us. She said we don't sell that shite here. We usually buy a sixer, then fill up at the turn. We drink pretty heavy, nothing to go through a case in one round.

How good a golfer are you? We drink, but we can play too.

I'm around Lafayette. I could do Kinder, LC, or Alec. I've been wanting to get up to those courses in Alec. I like playing in Kinder, because I can go to the camp in Grant after. I'll bring Malvin, get the blue cans ready.

ETA:I've got to go do some actual work for a bit

put your SN in the title.

When I first joined Greystone it was 2 bucks a beer and 10 bucks for a six pack

I'd grab a six pack just about every round.

Now it's 3 bucks or 3.50 maybe a beer and no 6 pack deal. I haven't bought a beer out there in probably 2 years.

I'm sure there are plenty of people that still buy beer, but I probably spent quite a bit more when I didn't feel overcharged.

All of their domestics are 10oz too

Never. But I keep a pint of Whiskey/Vodka in bag and mix a drink on 2nd or 3rd hole.

If I bring beer, I put in soft ice chest and cover with golf towel in cart rack.

Never had a problem at any course until LSU Course. Guy told us we either give him the beer or bring it back to the truck. Fwiw we weren't even drinking yet. This was about 2 weeks ago.

Yep. Several years ago, I played there before one of the baseball regional games. We had a few beers and some water in a small ice chest that fit in the back of the cart, and we threw some towels on top of it. Old man marshall just walked up, took the towels off, opened the ice chest and dug through it until he found the 4 beers. He started to take the whole ice chest away until I asked him to give us the water back.

Negative. I'm not a poor...not that there's anything wrong with that.
