I have owned a M2 probably 2-3 years.
With project x x stiff shaft.
Love the shaft. But just feel I need to upgrade the head.
I love my m2. I’m looking at the M4 or sim maybe. Any experiences with either one.
Im a Taylormade driver guy
About 250-280 tight cut is my play normally.

Handicap? Typical miss? Swing speed?

Not really, unless you just really want to or have beat a ton of balls with it. Performance isn't really going to be appreciably better.

I agree with this but it seems like he’s already made up his mind he wants a new driver. When ppl do that inevitably the current drivers performance will start to decline

About 6 handicap.
My miss is little right. But in past year or so. I added a draw with the driver which I never had. But yea more times then not if I miss. It’s more right.
Swing speed 115-118

You definitely need something because with that swing speed you should be much longer. Rory's driver clubhead speed is 118.

He also hits the center of the face and has a positive attack angle. not saying the OP can't, but distance has to do with more than just speed.

Then maybe a low spin shaft will have a great impact on distance for OP

Hence the definitely need something. That doesn't necessarily mean equipment that can mean lessons on mechanics. OP is also a 6 handicap so presumably he is pretty efficient with his mechanics.

use a lower spin ball too perhaps, z star xv, pro v1, whatever other brands low spin offerings are...

You're talking about arguably the best driver of the golf ball in the world. All the equipment and lessons on the planet isn't going to create the same smash factor as Rory.

And a 115 club head speed is probably going to produce around a 280-290 yard drive so it sounds like when the OP hits it solid he's getting the approximate distance he should.

I get what you're saying and I am not trying to argue just to continue arguing but a in my opinion a 6 handicap with that kind of speed is hitting it further than 250-280 as the OP stated. Pointing out that Rory has the same club head speed doesn't mean he has to be as efficient or hit it as far as Rory (whose average drive is 320, but that takes into account all the factors you mentioned and probably more runout as well because of PGA conditions). I made the statement I made because I'd be shocked for a 6 handicap to have a swing that fast (which is elite speed) only hit their driver 250. It's an opinion.

I agree with this. Most people that have a 118bswing speed got 118 on a monitor one time and snap hooked the ball straight left. The OP very well could swing that fast, but its literally the top 1% of amateurs.

:

I’m about 93mph and IF I hit it perfect it goes 260.

Most of the time 215 to 230.

I wish I could bomb it, but those days are past.

I have an M2 with regular flex.

I may should check into a senior flex.

No it’s not, I know several high handicappers pumping it 118+, it’s not uncommon these days with more people playing golf, but 90% of them aren’t scratch.....
