Does anyone on here have an in to this course? I've always wanted to play it. I'll be in the area, next week, and plan to play 2-3 times. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry I can’t help you with Diamanté, but I really enjoyed playing Hot Springs Country Club last spring. They have two courses, both 100+ years old. One was redone by Coore/Crenshaw recently, the other designed by Willie Park (US player during the Harry Vardon era). They allow public tee times. I’ll actually be there late next week; let me know if you want to join up for a round.

I got on with a member.

It’s part of the Hot Springs Village courses tho. I’m pretty sure it’s not hard to get on if you show a little interest in the area. Maybe just call and say you were moving to the area and wanted to check it out. Prob try an off tee time (not a weekend morning). I don’t get the feeling they are highly exclusive courses or anything.

Diamanté is in the village but is a separate, private course from the others, so not as easy to get on. Saying that, they are running some membership promos now and might accommodate someone who shows any interest. Worth a call

If you know someone who is a ClubCorp member you can play it. It is worth it. Played there & Granada & while Granada was very nice, there was no comparison. Diamante is as nice a golf course as you can find in southern US.

Yea it’s basically Augusta, Alotian, Bears Club, Seminole and Diamanté in no particular order

It isn’t a Club Corp course any more. Got in financial trouble several years ago and the property owners bought it out

If any of you baws ever get the opportunity to get on this course, do it no matter what it takes. Had the pleasure of playing 11 holes yesterday, before we got rained out, and invited back to play all 18 today. This is a spectacular conditioned golf course, and it is beautiful from 1-18.

I've never played any of the courses you listed, but this is the nicest course I've played in my 25+years of playing golf.

Played today on a spur of the moment decision, after the rain dissipated. Hot Springs CC, Park Course. Great shape, flatter than the Arlington Course. Very uncrowded; played in 2:20. Sorry we didn’t meet up. I’m leaving Saturday morning. Thx for invite though.

Called Club Corp this morning and Diamante is still a part of Club Corp. If the weather is right, I may try & get up there Veterans Day.

Interesting, because the members I played with, had drinks with afterwards, and membership director I spoke with all said differently.

I also learned they are really good with reciprocity, so if you're a member of a club, have your pro call and speak with Scott or David, and they should be able to set you up.
