Is your group counting shots as holed if it hits the pin and bounces out?

The hole modifications I’ve seen give the pin less give, and I’ve seen normal speed putts hit the pin and ricochet out of the hole.

Do you count it as in if it hits the pin and goes in?

Only on short putts where the pin is leaning towards you, and you obviously would have pulled the pin out. Also if it obviously bounces out after hitting the PVC pipe in the hole. We don’t play money games anymore, so it’s not a big issue.
