Anybody with Clubcorp stories?

Dues go up?

Improvements?

What is the real cost of playing when I go to another Clubcorp golf course?

None, they’ll probably cut some costs

Depends on what course. Cart fee at most. The higher end courses may have an access fee. This may be waived depending on where your course rates

Get the one membership. Opens access to 100's other clubs. Have had it for a few years now. Any time I am traveling look for a club and have instant access. Even charge it to my account and don't have to worry.

Dues will probably be flat for a year or two.
Improvements will happen faster and probably nicer than previously anticipated.

If you have courses in your area just go visit one and ask some members whats up.

ETA: Firestone CC, Gleneagles CC (Plano), TPC Woodlands, and a few high end dining clubs in Houston, L.A., and Atlanta are on the access list.

This. I was a member at Kingwood CC (NE Houston) for many years. Got it mainly for golf. Me and a buddy that lived in League City would rotate playing the courses in either side of town. All for a cart fee. Just call in advance. Also, lots of dining options, especially in Houston, but all over the country like you said. Even a nice health club down by Greenway Plaza, but I think they were recently sold.

West Lake is still waiting for spring growth so it is tight in spots.

Greens are good, but not as fast as they will be.

I like the river, but I play most of my golf at west lake.

Guest fees are high imo at both west lake and the river

I'm a clubcorp member at Kingwood country club, dues are pretty competitive IMO.

We got a whole new fitness center, clubhouse, everything....because it all flooded.

Those frickers made it hell to pay them after Harvey. Didn't realize we weren't getting auto charged for a few months then suddenly get a threatening letter with an invoice that included 4 months of dues and all kinds of penalties and late fees. We paid up over time but had to call every month to get the late fee waived.

I like Club Corp. They are everywhere I travel for work so I can always play for cart fees and free rentals at most places.

It’s the best run event I play in and I play in several each year.

I like the tee gift.

Here's some clubs in North Atlanta that allow Club Corp members on.

Country Club of the South
The Maner
Atlanta National
White Columns

That's a list of some courses on Club Corp's list. Have a friend that's a member and enjoys it.

The best part of club Corp is the team event at pinehurst each year. Make sure your club participates. It’s awesome.

I joined Lifetime a while ago (pre-Harvey) mainly for not really liking the Kingwood CC fitness center, which I actually used more than the golf courses. Is the new and improved one nice? I saw a bunch of new faces at Lifetime from Kingwood CC after the flood.
