He doesn’t know it, but I bought my dad some irons today. He hasnt been playing, because his irons are too heavy to swing a full round and he gives up. I bought some gently used TM Speedblades with graphite shafts. I can’t wait to give them to him on Father’s Day. He taught me the game and has bought me several clubs over the years. It feels amazing to be able to buy him clubs. I ain’t gong to lie. I feel like a damn boss right now.

Play as much golf with your dad and kids while you can baws.

Honestly, he is one of those guys that if I bought them new, he probably wouldn’t want them. “Y’all spent too much, blah blah blah”

My dad left when I was 2.

Have fun with your dad.

Well done Chap. It'll mean the world to him. Me and Pops played together a lot when he was alive. He passed a year and a half ago and there isn't a day goes by that he doesn't cross my mind. Let us know his response when he gets them!

My dad is 62 and we play as much as possible, I learned the game playing with him and my grandfather. I often bring him in as a ringer since I can’t beat him, my kids play with me at LaTour more than Thibby does

I said that because the standard answer here when irons are mentioned is get fitted.

Good on you for hooking him up with some nerd shafts. You need to bring him out to the BBCC one day
