re: Anyone swing PXG?
Spend your money on the following instead of PXG:

Taylor Made Driver
Titleist 3 wood
Taylor made driving iron
Mizzuno irons
Cleveland wedges
Cameron putter

Spend the rest on lessons

Spend half the amount you'll spend getting fitted for PXG, and fly out to either Titleist's or Taylormade's fitting center, and let them fit you for every club in your bag. My guess is you wouldn't score any differently than you would with PXG.

I don't see how they are still in business other than an owner who doesn't care about profit.

re: Anyone swing PXG?
Great sticks, have a real unique feel to them, I found you could hit them pretty much anywhere on the face and they would fly the same distance as a well struck shot. Apples to apples if you hit it in the center then all clubs pretty much feel the same. I had the 0311's which was a little too thick in the sole for my liking, I'll most likely end up with the 0311 T's at some point in the near future. I have been a lifelong Titleist whore and have Mizuno MP18's in the bag for now, I shoot the same scores with pretty much anything.

Random story about him, fraternity brother has been out in Vegas since graduating school about 10 years ago. He spent the first 9 or so years on the hospitality side with one casino and worked his way up(I believe he's now pretty high up at one of the bigger casinos, the Bellagio I believe but can't say for sure). Anyway, we were playing a few weeks ago and he has the whole set so I asked about them. He met Bob Parsons through the casino and got to know him pretty well. Basically when Bob came to Vegas, he called this guy. When Bob started PXG he brought my fraternity brother to the HQ and fit him for a set, and told him in not so many words "if you have any other clients that come to Vegas and want to play golf, I want them playing PXG". Long story short, he's taken several hockey players, soccer players(Christiano Ronaldo), and others to play all gaming new PXG's.

I was able to hit his a few times and like the poster above said, they are pretty pure. Never really felt a mi shite no matter where the impact was on the face. Didn't really like the driver as much. Unfortunately I couldn't get my buddy to give me his set, so I'll be sticking with my full bag of Titleist sticks.

I have some and love em. Definitely the best I've ever hit and I'm far from a club hoe. Think I played some CB2s for 8 or 9 years before switching.

4 thru PW then got the 50, 56 and 60. Oh and I upgraded to the steelfiber shafts.

I hit a buddy’s 0311 set with the aerotech shafts in them. They were smooth and damn forgiving. But I love my Srixons more tbh.

It's the miss hits that are impressive to me. I didn't gain any yardage on well struck balls but the miss hits distances is way tighter.

re: Anyone swing PXG?
It was tough to tell when I missed it really. There’s not much feel/response in those hollow heads.

0311t’s here. Had AP2s for the previous 10 years. The PXGs are far superior to my AP2s. Just as the Darrow kid said...it’s the misses that are so much better. For me they are quite a bit longer. I also have the steel fiber shafts.

Fact, the guy designing PXG came from Ping. My buddy swings PXG and I swing Ping. He hit my irons and thinks that they are nearly identical. I recommend the S55 or iBlades (or i200).

re: Anyone swing PXG?
Actually it's two guys from Ping. There is no doubt that they are heavily influenced by Ping but definitely not identical. Hell I believe Parsons is in litigation with several people for patent infringement from people trying to knock off his design.

re: Anyone swing PXG?
Except taylormade had the themo-goop patented earlier in the century.

Parsons is grasping at straws at this point.
