Anybody watching the Mayakoba on Golf Channel?

Rodgers in the final group, I don't know who the frick he is. Anyways..
Hits his approach at #17..spins it left off the green, right on to the edge of the fringe and rough cut..walks up and then putts his third shot from the fringe. Most definitely not where his approach ended.
I'm talking a solid 2 ft closer to the hole.

I was watching but missed that. Did he get relief from a sprinkler or something?

I saw that too. Maybe lift, clean, and place for the day? They did get some rain.

It was lift clean and place... He was off the green and took relief perpendicular to the hole but still remained off the green (on the fringe)... he used that rule to his advantage there.

This is always variable. Most use a scorecard length because it's uniform across all groups
