Football season is finally upon us. I can’t believe it’s august already.

Played the Wed scramble at The Farm. Cant putt those greens for shite!! Like the course but greens are soooooo grainy!

Played Carter Plantation earlier today. Course is looking as good as I've seen it. Some minor improvements still could be made but overall it is great.

Someone talked me into playing Copper Mill today. Beautiful mix of fescue , st. Aug , and goosegrass . Greens have aids and the bunkers dont drain.

I’ve been helping my brother move for 2 days and went and unadvisedly played at Bayou Bend in the dog fight. 85, frick me. I had no nitro.
I jammed a long putt for eagle to finish the round. It was my only below par score of the day. Saved the team some cash though.

Played Tamahka Hills yesterday at the Paragon Casino in Marksville. They have given up on all of the sand traps. Only one hole I noticed the traps were maintained. And it was a par 3. Course was in great shape other than the traps. 85 from the blues, 44-41. Hit in several traps and played it from there. Had several lies that I couldn't go for the green because the ball rolled right up to the edge of what should of been sand and the grass. Thank goodness I had a free round, wouldn't of paid for that. And the guy in the pro shop said the course was in great shape. Yea, except the fricking traps.
