Is this something I should wait for to buy the game or is it no big deal. Seeing several articles about it getting pushed back to March

I have been debating buying this title as well. What is the word on it from those who have played it? Pros/Cons?

I feel like the game is long enough you can go ahead and start. But I'm slow at playing games.

There isn't much to patch in the main game. The big things are the New Game+ features, and the map features. I'd say you can start it, no big deal.

If you like Old School JRPG's, it is a no brainer. You probably need a high tolerance for weird Anime though. I dislike Anime and still enjoyed the game quite a bit.
If you like RPG's with unique combat systems, it has one of my favorite combat systems in any RPG.
Story is super solid, music is fantastic, and the world is awesome.

Great game, haven't played it much since monster hunter came out but I've alreeady put in 80 hours. Best story of any Switch game so far.

Thanks for the input. I'll pick it up. Going out of town early March for a business trip and will be in a hotel for a few weeks...perfect time to binge game.

Good to know. I'll pick it up this weekend. Should be finished with Mario by then.
The main game will likely be enough for me.

Despite the game’s funky aesthetic, it probably has the best soundtrack out on the market today. And that includes against games like Nier.
Would highly recommend. It’s easily a 300+ hour game. It’s a tough game though. Got a bit of a learning curve.

I'm about 60 hours in and really have enjoyed all of it. I don't have a ton of switch games but I actually like it better than BOTW

I'm actually one of the few people that doesn't really like BOTW
I think the concept is great and love the graphics. I just don't find the game very enjoyable. Maybe I need to get further into it but it just doesn't have my interest at the moment.
