Any actually worth getting?
I played football for 12 years at a state champ school and was a cage fighter for 12 months, then crossfit for 4 months.....
So could any game based workout actually show results?
TIA
ETA: Xbox, preferably

You played football at a school for 12 years? GTFO Or you're really stupid.

This just seems like an attempt at humble bragging.

I'm going to avoid the rest of your post, because it just reeks of bullshite.
From what I've seen, they are interactive versions of a wussy p90x.

No idea. I'm more of a sarcastic jerk on here than I am in real life.
I'm probably more sane on Tigerdroppings than I am in real life too.

What, you can't play football from first grade to senior year around here? No bragging, just giving insight to what I'm accustomed to, for someone to form a decent answer as to what I'm looking for.

Nope, straight up curious what would be an intense workout game with brief history to what I'm accustomed to.

Peewee to middle school
Middle school to 9th grade
Then JV and Varsity
All under the same name
How is this hard to believe
Stay on target GB... Stay on target
Tactical1... You'll get no names from me. I know your tricks... Sorcerer.

Why not do a real workout program since you're captain athletic? Workout games are designed to entice the average couch potato with no gym membership to do a little bit of low-impact exercise. Although, the old Dance Dance Revolution games on PS2 were decent cardio.
There's also Wii Fit, which I have no experience with. My mother has it and said she finds it a little too easy, but she might not be using it correctly.

cause you're trying to flaunt on the internet that you're some athletic/workout freak asking about working out via a video game.

Apparently my OP should have been written as:
Are any worth getting?
I prefer an intense workout and wanted to change it up a bit. Are there any games out for Xbox that are as intense as something compared to p90x?
/hindsight
Did not mean to "flaunt", as you put; but simply meant to describe what I'm accustomed to in hopes the gb would know of a workout, on Xbox that could match intensity.
Apparently my main question has been overlooked and defense is futile. I had honest intentions, and being a huge nerd who wants to get back in shape, I wanted to combine one love (gaming) with something I need to do.
I still love you guys, I really do.
Internet Badass, out.

I mean, seriously?
a video game work out can no way match an actual workout.
you should know this cause of your extensive "background"

Believe me, you are giving me a lot more credit than I deserve.
I will say that EA Sports Active is a title for the Nintendo Wii that is a bit fun and does a great job in keeping the heart rate up and works as a serviceable cardiovascular workout game.
