do you plan on playing any other zelda games immediately after TP ?
if so, I would recommend playing the older versions first. I found OOT terribly unpleasant to play after playing TP. couldnt even get an hour into the game

No game has aged better for me than OOT. I played it right after skyward sword.

Skyward Sword is very easy and linear, but it is mind numbingly long.
I had a few weeks between jobs, and played it 8-10 hrs per day. It took me about two weeks to beat it without really doing many side quests.
My only real complaint about the game is that it often felt like a Wii motion experiment.
In Twilight Princess on Wii the motion controls were used very efficiently, but you always felt the could a few extra moves.
For SS, it often felt a bit overkill to do some of the motion controls.

To me Wind Waker has aged the best of all the pre-Skyward Sword Zelda's from a purely graphical perspective. I even think it looks better than Twilight Princess in most cases.
Both OOT and MM look pretty rough these days but I can still appreciate them for how impressive they were at the time.
Having said that, I wish Nintendo would remake MM's with updated graphics so it could look like this fake Majora's Mask HD trailer.

WW is my favorite. I loved the art style, the setting, and had the best Zelda score IMO.
I played Tp right after a WW play through once and it was pretty unique when you first start playing because of the different feel of the controls.
I think TP has the best combat mechanics and those techniques you could learn were pretty awesome.
