I know. But even when I was running a 3-3-5 Strong where the outside corners play a shallow zone, the DE's played a buzz zone and the LBs a hook zone, you still burned me.

I wouldn't say my teams are anything close to bad arse, but I have consistantly made due with what i had. What I have problems with is playing against passing offenses like you have. You are the only one that consistantly owns me. Everyone else is a close game.

I have decided to retire from the dynasty. I was gonna play this out as my last season but with my aggravating loss to LSU I don't even want to bother playing it out.

I couldn't stop his run the entire game. It was ridiculous. His QB made the most amazing pitches on options I've ever seen.

That combined with his refusal to score in the end. He had about 2 min left and had a TD but refused to take it because he knew he could run it in. I'm not really knocking it b.c I've done it before and if I was running all over someone I probably would not have taken it either.

Then my last drive was an epic failure of thought processes. I have no idea what I was thinking. ha ha

Anyway, I am working about 70 hours a week and online dynasties just aren't high enough on my list to warrant the lack of sleep that they cause since I normally play late at night.

Good luck to everyone! If anyone wants a pretty stacked team, PSU is it. 99 offense, 5 star recruits lining up to play. I built a pretty good squad if anyone wants to take over my legacy.

People of the dynasty, what is more "cheezing?"

1. Refusing to score on about 3 situations where the field is WIDE open in front of you but you tackle yourself because you don't want to score yet.

2. Quitting w/ 21 seconds left when you threw a pick and the game is over.

IMHO it is #1 but even that has been ruled previously as only slightly "cheezing."

Tackle yourself/kneel the ball/fondle your center's nuts until the play clock expires = legit strategy for running the clock down to nil to preserve a win. Perfectly acceptable, but it can be frustrating as hell to sit there an know you can't do anything to prevent the loss. Nothing wrong here.

This one is difficult for me. Quitting early is not cheezing, but it can be a dick move. For example, if Nelly is losing to EZ by 681 points as usual, and quits at half, it is only slightly dickish, because the game was over at the point. If the game is still close, and someone quits late in the 4th b/c they make a mistake or can't stop a score and realize that they are going to lose, IMO that's majorly dickish.

I can't stand when people quit on me late in the 4th. Just suck it up, wait out the remaining few minutes, and take the loss like a champ. As much as I hate it though, it's not cheesing, because it doesn't effect the actual outcome of the game.

see i disagree with that.

not with the strategy, it sucks to watch but it is what it is.

the quitting with 21 seconds is nothing to me. Its basically accepting defeat and letting you know that i'm not going to stop you from either scoring or kneeling just get the game over with so we can both move on. Do i quit at anytime not unless i'm kicked off but i can see why you wouldn't want to sit through the last 20 or so seconds. Personally i see nothing wrong with either scenario.
