Yeah my UF team is pretty sick. My recruiting is kind of on cruise control, and the 10 5*'s is a shock to me too. Although now that you mention the disparity between the number of 5* recruits our programs land each year I am onto a new theory.

I believe that in the season you just finished that ND returned ALL of it's defensive starters... yes? Whereas I recruit like I am going to lose most of my starters (seniors to graduation and a lot of juniors to the NFL) I lose so many that I don't expect anyone to stay past their junior year. Last season I boasted 6 count em 6 returning seniors. Perhaps the star ratings have something to do with this?

Yes I think I returned 11 starters. I had the #1 pass D, #2 run D and I think I was at least top 5 in all categories. If I know I am going to have a down year I will redshirt a few key players even if they are seniors so that I will have them all back in one year. Since I don't always get deep at positions I will do lots of reshirting and play thin at most positions to try and get my players better over the years. I did this two years ago on offense with some of my Oline and it payed off big time.

Florida(if he makes it back in time), Speed, speed and more speed. They will outscore everyone.
I think it will be a good season and just based on rosters I think most of the teams are on a level playing field.
USC must have lost a ton of talent and I just don't see them making it to the MNC game this year(sorry DOM).
I just realized how loaded my D was last year. I lost 7 players rated above 90 and 3 of them were 99. I may have a little more speed on both sides this year but may give up too many points. I got flat out beat in recruiting at MLB(screw you dom) and I am thin and had to fill a spot with a SS. I do return a OLB who is going for his 4th AA year. This is my glitch guy who played as a freshman and never lost his redshirt. He is a menance and makes plays all day.

I never played PSU, Oklahoma or LSU with current users. All have pretty good talent and can make a run if they can get past Florida but I can see any one of these teams with 2 losses.

WVU and VTech look to be lacking the talent on both sides of the ball. But I have played both users and I know they work well with what they have. WVU beat me in the NC game two years ago with a team with a lot less talent that I had and Vtech last year cam down to a FG against a team that should have been on the bus at halftime.
Mizzou has too tough of a schedule this year and may need some upsets not to lose 3 games. @ Miami @LSU and Florida is a daunting task.

Without FSU in the ACC, I like Miami as my suprise team of the year.

Its all about the coaching.

I am surely not going to be any good this year based on my first game. Whew am I going to miss my QB from last year.

Plus, I have 7 road games and 5 home. 4 out of my first 5 games are on the road. It's going to be a rough year.
