Also Giga Bowser is Mario’s final boss in Classic Mode, which makes me think Ganon will Link’s. Wonder what other bosses will make an appearance. My wild guesses:

The online is forced regional, and then localized to a specific area in the country to maximize online play per Sakurai.

Smash has the best online experience next to Splatoon. Smash Wii U was actually fantastic, outside of the first month of some lag/delay, it was super smooth.
