He was probably the best lightsaber duelist in an era that canonically produced much better fighters than the modern Republic. Galen is not that great of a duelist.

From what I've read about the games, he directed an already falling Star Destroyer down, he didn't pull it down. And the Emperor let him win, then hit him with lightning and walked away without a scratch.

It's commonly known that ancient Jedi and Sith were more powerful, and certainly better with a lightsaber, than their modern counterparts.

And we never actually know the extent of Revan's powers, but we do know that according to one of his previous masters Revan was basically the force incarnate.

Oh, and Revan was able to master both the Light and Dark sides of the force. Very few can claim that level of power.

Annakin had the highest amount and got his arse kicked by Obi-Wan. The whole midichlorian thing is a bullshite feature Lucas cooked up. I wonder how many midichlorians the Emperor had, yet he got taken out by Mace and would have been taken out by a 900 year old green midget.

Since there were no longer huge armies of Jedi and Sith like in the old days, this was Lucas' way of saying, "Ooohh, look at how badass Anakin is," because he couldn't have him facing off against legit Jedi or Sith.

Galen used his famous force storm, what, once? Revan mastered it and could kill freaking Rancors with it. Not to mention Revan had access, and mastery of, force powers Galen would have known nothing about. Like absorbing force attacks, life energy, etc.

All of Star Wars Canon agrees that the Jedi and Sith of the past were more powerful and better fighters than their modern parts. I'm not sure how you even argue that.

Like what? Could he absorb force lightning attacks with his bare hands? The sheer number of force powers and abilities Revan mastered far outnumber those of Galen. Again, he mastered, and could use simultaneously, powers from both the light and dark side of the force. He also possessed highly developed precognitive abilities.

Revan pulled a Mandalorian cruiser out of orbit. And if you want to talk about someone who flat out massacred Jedi and Sith alike it's hard to go against Revan. During the Civil Wars you either joined him or died. He takes on a dark-side factory that was capable of fueling armies that conquered countless worlds, alone, while teams of Jedi masters got their asses kicked. And then he took on Malak.

From what I've read Palpatine is letting him win, and doesn't Starkiller ultimately lose to Palpatine and Vader? And Vader was a shell of what he could have been.
