Rockstar and Guitar Hero

Any one know if you can use the rockstar guitar for guitarhero and vice versa. Any advice would be appreciated. I do not want to buy another guitar after spending the money on the two games

The only one that I think I am sure of is the guitar hero guitar works on Rock Band only for xbox

That's not completely true. The GH guitar will work for RB and GH but the RB guitar will only work for RB.
On the Wii the GH guitar can't be used for RB and the RB guitar can't be used for GH.

that might just be yours, cuz both of mine work both ways, or maybe its b/c mine is modded.

That may be it because the RB guitar isn't supposed to work with GH like it is but that doesn't mean it can't.
