I don’t understand how or what happened in today’s round.
+11 on both 9s
I shot a +5 on holes 6 and 10
7 bogeys
1 double
1 triple
7 pars
0 birdies or better
A few swing tempo glitches and misjudged winds really bent me over the barrel

I’m down for that. I think we should make the last 4 tournaments reduce in size by a certain number of players based on points. Last I looked we maybe have 13 members. Maybe 14 now with the recent add on. Makes it tough to reduce by more than 2 if we want the final tournament to have at least 6-8 members playing.

Was skeptical on reminding anyone who hasn't played the Major to make sure and play today. Finally have a shot at winning a tournament but feel like someone can top it on last day haha.
There will be a Tournament of Champions on Thursday. I think that's the day I set it for. Anyone who has won a tournament will be the only ones playing it. The alternate tournament will be for everyone else. Tournament of Losers.
I've typically kept the courses to real courses as sometimes when picking custom courses you don't know what you're going to get. If anyone has challenging course suggestions send them here or in the society messages.
How do we feel about # of rounds per tournament for S2:
Regular - 1 round (1 day to complete)
Championship - 2 round (1 day to complete)
Major - 3 round (2 days to complete)
Final Four - 1 round (1 day to complete. I say 1 round since it's high pressure to determine season champion. Bring your A game. Open to suggestions though).
Have the days been okay or should we keep the tournaments to week days only? I notice that some tournaments have more participants than others and I know this past weekend being Labor Day may have kept people away on trips. I'm all about the snooze you lose approach, but only when there's a consensus agreement on days we play.

I'm cool with the setup for # of rounds proposed. No issue with "you snooze you lose" approach either. There's a 24 hour window to play each tourney and if you time them correctly, you can play 2 rounds every other day so there really isn't an excuse for missing one IMO.

Jesus Christ I suck at this game. I can't seem to get it together either. I am starting to wish I didn't buy the digital copy.

I would suggest calibrate the swing multiple times. I agree the game can be very frustrating but once you have a consistent swing things will start to click. It’s crazy how much the little details (wind, lie, break, etc.) dictate your shot. It’s why I love it though. There’s no post shot recovery by adding unrealistic spin, so it makes you play well.

What’s your tip for putting? I can’t figure out the right place to hit it with the slope so I end up 3-putting a lot of greens. The speed is also getting me.

Putting gets better with reps. It comes down to being able to read the speed of the dots showing the breaks.
Play the PGA Tour mode or just set up a solo round and use putt preview. You will start to see how accurate you are when reading the breaks. At first your putt preview will be off by a long shot, but the more you do it the more accurate you'll see that putt preview line up with the hole. Then hopefully it translates over into the society/online play where there is no preview.

Anyone and everyone can join. The more we have the better. Pro Am swing settings. Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Hmm... I've searched and can't find the league. I searched for "golf club for degenerates" and even just "golf club for" and got no results.
