My point was that certain games like UC3 are tailored to the specific console, and I made a point that I didn't think the graphics of UC3 could be reached on $250 self built PC because PC games are not tailored to certain hardware.
BA threw out some hardware that he thought could run something like that for less than $250.

To be fair uc3 is probably the best console video game as far as graphics go to this point. That being said, it is still not as graphically demanding as the HD mods for the PC version of Skyrim.
I gave him a couple parts, that could run the HD PC version of Skyrim with all the mods. So I am very confident that computer for 250 dollars could play Uncharted 3

Im not sure you know what type of performance you can get out of a 250 system.
Yes, you could achieve better performance for under 200bucks than I think the next gen consoles will even provide. Maybe 5yrs from now when coding for said consoles has improved, but even then I still do not see it.
Not sure you can have a valid argument if you have not experienced all platforms, sorry.

I have, like I said I used to build my own PCs.
high end graphics are great, but for the price and ease at this point in my life graphics are more than fine on consoles and for the price.

ETA:
Not to mention I am specifically speaking about how I think (although I was incorrect) the PS3 is better value for the price. Why can't I bring up a PS3 specific game?

turns out its just server 08 with a w8 skin - though they did replace the traditional start button with a hidden tile like start menu

I haven't experienced '12 yet. I'm just running Windows Home Server though.

aint my server
yeah i was scared to death when it first came up though - thought M$ had really lost their minds.
so far it appears to just be a skin though for continuity purposes with W8
there is no tile/app drawer screen - boots to login screen then straight to desktop

BA was able to "evenly apply" it when he gave me parts that he thought could play the game.
