Amazon is listing the release date as 11/30/13.
I think they'll try and get it out before Black Friday.

I thought it was a good conference. Only a few must have games and I'm sure the console details will come later in E3

If you remove VAT, the price difference is $28....
That's not much at all.

This has already been discussed on here but I don't think MS or Sony need the madness of Black Friday to move launch consoles or games. The people gobbling that up are going to get anything these companies are putting out.

Yes, they don't need it, but it still creates more hype and time for more momentum to build.
Also wish that D4 wasn't a Kinect game. It's right up my alley.

Official Microsoft Xbox E3 Conference Thread
even with the 19% vat here thats only 95 euro
499 euro is 658 dollars
429 pounds is just about 667 dollars
thats almost a 200 dollar difference for the US and UK

How long did it take the 360 to have the first price drop?
I don't see myself needing this console at launch, but there are some must-have games coming to the console that will make a $399 or $350 seem more viable.

More like $655, but yes, that's a sizable difference.

I thought the PS3 was more expensive, but it launched at 425 in the UK with it being $600 in the US, so it is much worse than I thought.

It was better than their presentation any other year, so I would say it was better than I thought it was going to be.
Not blown away at all tho.
