i know, but only way i see it working is if they keep the MW/Verdansk map separate from the CW/??? map.

use MW weapons on the MW map and CW weapons on the CW map. characters can go back and forth because they aren't performance based, but with the way the weapons and class setups are so different between both games, it doesn't make sense to mix and match.

why pick up dead silence (MW) in WZ when you could have Ninja(CW) as a perk? it won't be balanced. also, if the looting goes back to the Blackout method. I'm going to scream.

i played a total of 3 matches friday. didn't pick it up again. hopefully they make some real changes before the next beta next month.

Bad? I didn’t try it because I just didn’t like what I saw and would rather play warzone, but I have heard mixed reviews.

It is a much better game than MW multi to me.

well i haven't really hated it on it. i like the '80s theme of the game. however, a few of the gripes i had was that the gunsmith screen is a downgrade from the MW version.

almost 2000 people agreed with me on reddit as well...

some of the other "gripes", it's definitely not as fast paced as MW. mainly due to them taking away tactical sprint. i played on m/kb and controller and it appeared that for controller, you had to hold sprint for a second or 2 to activate auto-sprint.


the netcode delay was really bad in the alpha to. not so much with me since i didn't play it that much, but Hollow on YouTube had full fledge beat a guy and got turned on due to the netcode and in the kill cam, not one bullet fired from his gun.

then there's the SBMM. apparently, the SBMM kicked into overdrive compared to MW and everyone started killing themselves to get into lower lobbies so they could pub stomp lower skilled players.

it's gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out.

I just don't really care about any of that. The game could look like counter-strike if it plays well. And it is my opinion, that the gameplay was better than MW multi.

Snipers need to get nerfed. (they said they are)
SBMM is still rough (nothing will ever be done about that)

Gunsmith, animations, gun details are all worse than MW. I won't deny that.

Ummm I strongly disagree with this. It is way faster paced than MW. All of the camping mechanics of MW have been nerfed or removed.

dude, tact sprint is gone and sprinting feels like your running through water.

Who cares if tact spring is gone? Tact sprint is not some staple of COD. The game plays much faster because there is less camping.

You know what is gone that slowed the game down way more than tact sprint?

All guns being silenced on the map
Ghost that works when not moving
Instant deaths because of tiny TTK
Mounting
doors
instant claymores
bad visibility
limited dead silence usages (ninja does need a buff)

Go back and play MW on any map besides Shoot house or shipment. It's played at a snails pace. I have 15 days in the game, I didn't hate it, but tac sprint didn't make it play fast.

all the guns being silenced on the map showed up in the compass. i never used the compass because i used my ears. if i heard gunfire to my left, i turned left and same for the right side.

not sure what you mean about your ghost comment. i always though ghost worked sitting still or moving.

TTK was low even for core modes, but it was something to get used to.

mounting is something most people did for grinding camos.

doors could be busted through as if they weren't even there. it didn't even have an animation to slow you down.

claymores. i've walked through them and lived.

color palatte was bad, yeah. i agree there.

dead silence is basically the same arguement as SBMM. pros like rushing and pub stomping when not being heard for a full match. but when a pub sits in a corner all quiet to stomp on some pros, everyone loses their minds. there's no comfortable in-between for these types of play styles.

If your ears work as well as the traditional minimap for locating precise locations, that is impressive.

For some CODs it does. For others you have to be moving or planting/defusing the bomb.

Well yea. People also used it to beam people from across the map with no recoil.

Doors gave campers an audio cue, throw-able protection and visibility advantage. It doesn't matter if there was no animation for the breacher.

I thought we were talking about the pace of the game. I like running around just like they do. But COD in it's roots should be an arcade shooter. Thats my opinion.

SBMM ruins the fun in these games. Don’t mind a hard game here and there, but sweating your arse off in a non-ranked playlist every game makes no sense. That’s one thing Halo had going for it.

the reason they have it because if new players and shitty players got shite on every game, they would eventually quit playing. SBMM keeps them in the game and blasted with "kewl skins" and spending more money.


i don't like any better than you guys do. but that's the deal we've got.

It was an alpha...like a true alpha. Meaning there was a lot of polish let off.

I actually liked it a lot. It was mostly all guns and killstreaks and a lot less gay corner jumping and shotguns with fire coming out of them.

If the player has (1) teammates alive or (2) a self revive they have the opportunity to be raised the crawling position. If the teammates die or a solo player does not have a revive, they will either (1) bleed out, or die instantly. It is a warzone mechanic so you don't die immediately.
