Q: I didn't play the first Arkham game...should I play that one before I play the new one?

I think you'll still enjoy it without having played it, but some of the story won't make sense.

I actually have the first one at home. (i borrowed it from a friend and never returned it)....

You would still enjoy it Modern. I think there is even a "what has happened up til now" type situation as well.. if nothing else you could go on wiki and just look up the "simple" plot device on there, or watch a "story" video of AA.

Ok.. well if that's true then I'm ok with that, it just scares me when you keep responding to people with **spoilers** in their comments.. so I skip over the comment you made.

Ok...this may sound stupid but I can't figure out to do the Vertual Reality Training 3 where you have to dive bomb and then pull up to glide to the next ring. I keep just going straight into the water. How do you pull up from a dive bomb?

Keep holding a
Let go of right trigger
Pull up with left stick

Hell, the only one that seems impossible, is the Dive Bomb-to-glide 5 feet off the ground, then turn 90 degrees to the left. I've managed to quasi turn left.

About all I have left, is about 130 more riddler trophies, another prisoner rescue or 2, 60% of the Mysterious Vigilante (though I know who it is from the costume), most of the identity theft case (though I know who it'll end up being, and where I first saw him in the game), and the Catwoman riddles.
Beaten the story, Zsaz, Bane, Deadshot, and any other cases I'm missing.

SPOILERS
While not a Rule-the-World type plan, basically, it's a measure to legally execute criminals on a mass scale. By showing that the inmates have gotten out of control (and access to weapons), and appear to be on the verge of a mass breakout, the city can give Strange and TYGER the ability to kill the inmates before they break out. What makes it devious, is that Strange intended for this to happen all along, as it was Strange himself sneaking the guns into the city itself.

SPOILER-like in that it's more theory:
The way Oracle stated it, it's likely that Strange (who already showed some power of hypnotic suggestion i.e. Mayor Sharp), used some of this the city council. That the city really didn't want to let this security measure exist, but they let it happen anyway.
Also, Strange says "they" plan on using the Arkham City model in other cities, like Metropolis and Keystone City. Neat little Easter Egg.

What's metropolis and keystone city from?
Posted on 10/20/11 at 7:56 pm to finchmeister08
Metropolis is Supermans town, keystone city is the flash's town.

Only thing left are cameras and riddler trophies/riddles then on to gameplus and challenge mode, I'm only 60% done
